Running for Herts Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre - in memory of my Grandad

My Story

I'm Mike, and i hate running. I've never run more than 10k... so why the London Marathon?

Because my grandad, who had MS, lost the ability to walk, write and play piano (he was grade 8!) - yet never complained. He played football with my brother and I (terribly!), launched us through the air like Peter Pan, and showed us what true strength looks like.

When i was diagnosed with diabetes at age 4, he was my guiding light. If he could face MS with a smile, I could handle injections without a fuss.

This run will be hard - very hard - but its nothing compared to what people with MS go through every day.  I'm running for them, and for the joy and resilience my grandad showed us all.

Please donate if you can - every step I take is powered by your support!
