My Story

I am very excited to be running the London Marathon in April 2026 for the outstanding charity Hope and Homes for Children - the Marathon has been on my "Before I am 50" bucket list and the opportunity arose with an invitation from my friend Pete Garratt, who I am very happy to be running the race with ..... if I can keep up with him!

Please make the most of this opportunity to support the many hours being spent preparing for the exciting day in 2026 and the vital work that this charity does in getting children Back to Family. 5.8 million children are in orphanages around the world and yet more than 80% have parents who can, with support, look after their children. We can change this and consign orphanages to the history books, reuniting and restoring children into family, or finding them a new family, where they benefit from safety, love and nurture.
