My Story

Thanks for visiting my page !

After a last‑minute drop-out, I’ve stepped in with just 12 weeks to train for my first ever TCS London Marathon—and to raise the funds—for Maggie’s, a charity that offers free practical, emotional, and psychological support to people with cancer and their families. Their centres are a lifeline on some of the hardest days, providing expert advice, community, and calm when it’s needed most.

I’ll be training hard between now and race day, and every donation—big or small—will help Maggie’s be there for more people. If you can, please support my run and help me turn miles into meaningful support. Thank you.

Why Maggie's?

Maggies is a fantastic charity, set up to support people and families suffering with the effects of cancer, as well as championing quality architecture for their centres.

Maggies Centres offer practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. They receive no government funds and rely on the generosity of their supporters. They focus on the things that really make a difference, such as financial worries, housing, help with managing stress and anxiety as well as side efforts of treatment and they offer family support. They offer this through 1-1 support or group sessions.

There are 24 centres in the UK welcoming 100+ visitors into each centre every day.
