My Story

I was born in South Africa and now live in the UK, so I’m very aware of the challenges many young people still face there. In 2026 I’ll be taking on the challenge of running both the Manchester and London marathons just one week apart. It’s a huge test for me, but one that’s worth every step if it helps raise awareness and funds for KHULA Education. In rural South Africa, where unemployment is over 80% and classrooms can hold up to 90 children per teacher, KHULA is giving young people the chance of a brighter future through early education, improved teaching, and pathways into jobs. By pushing myself to the limit, I hope to play a small part in supporting KHULA’s incredible work and to raise as much as possible for the children who need it most.
