My Story

Im running to support King George & Queens Hospital Charity, with all donations going directly to the NICU at Queens Hospital—a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.
Our eldest son, Oscar, spent 73 days in the NICU after being born at just 27 weeks and 2 days, weighing only 1.24kg. His journey was filled with challenges, including needing resuscitation at birth, multiple blood transfusions, and round-the-clock care from the incredible doctors and nurses. Their dedication and compassion not only helped Oscar survive but also supported us every step of the way, even after we brought him home.
Today, Oscar is a thriving, amazing 4-year-old, and together with his little brother, they are the toughest people I know. Running this marathon is my way of giving back to the extraordinary team who made such a difference in our lives.
