My Story

Why I'm running

In 2017 my younger cousin Thomas was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children in the Uk. After 2months under intensive care Thomas thankfully recovered despite having to re-learn to walk aswell as other functions we take for granted.

I'm running for Societi to help raise money towards their strategies of raising awareness for symptoms aswell as investing in clinical research and supervision in hopes that over time other families will be as lucky as ours and see the recovery of their affected loved ones.
