My Story

On April 26th I'm running the London Marathon for Action Medical Research, a charity who fund research to help prevent, treat and cure diseases, cancers and other serious conditions in children. 

Training between work, rehearsals and gigs has been intense, and no one told me this before I signed up, but apparently I'm getting older.  (It's now 25 years since my first marathon and 9 years since my last one!).  However, training runs and the day itself will all be worth it, if we can raise a great amount for this brilliant cause... 

Action's research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop the ultrasound scanner now used in pregnancy, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. Any donations you can make are so so appreciated and I'll be thinking of you all and spurred on by your kindness on miles 18-26 when life gets tough!!
