My Story

Paul and Andi are taking on the 2026 LondonMarathon to raise money for Springhill Hospice.

We are supporting Springhill Hospice by raising money in memory of our great friend Karl Buckley who received their amazing care in Summer 2024. That was when Karl sadly left us after a long, typically hard fought and determined battle against illness

Springhill Hospice believes in making every moment count and that every person should have the death that they want, with dignity. They do this by working tirelessly day and night providing the highest level of physical, emotional and spiritual care to the patients and their loved ones in the Hospice and in their homes. Karl, his family and friends benefitted hugely from the care that Springhill Hospice gave him in his final days..

Springhill Hospice is an amazing charity that provides specialist palliative care to the people of the Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood community who are suffering from a life limiting illness. It needs all the financial support that we can collectively provide, as it costs over £4 million pounds every year to fund the Hospice and without continued donations they wouldn't be able to continue providing this essential care.
