My Story
I am running the TCS London Marathon in 2026 to fundraise for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridgeshire. They support people living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end-of-life care.
In 2024 they provided a place for our family to say goodbye to mum which meant that our last time together didn't have to be on a hospital ward. During the short time spent there we got a glimpse how essential they are.
The care they provide is free of charge to all patients and families and every year they care for around 3,800 patients at the Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech and in patients’ own homes via the Arthur Rank Community Team. This care supports people to improve their quality of life and fulfil their end of their life choices.
It will cost £14 million in 2025/2026 to run the services. Please sponsor me as I take on this incredible challenge to help them.
