My Story

One of my sons has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). He's now doing well, but at it's worst he was in too much pain to go to school and for a long time was unable to join in games with his friends because the pain meant that he couldn't run.

Juvenile Arthritis Research (JAR) supports people with JIA, raises awareness that arthritis can affect people at any age, and partners with researchers working to improve treatment.

I love running and have always wanted to run the London Marathon, so running it isn't some great sacrifice for me, but JAR is a cause close to my heart, so it would be wonderful to raise some money for them.
