My Story
In 2026, I’m running my very first and last marathon! — and I’m doing it for a place that means so much to me: Treloar’s School and College.
Treloar’s is where I began my clinical career, and it’s where everything truly started for me. It gave me the foundation, the values, and the inspiration that continue to guide me to this day. Working alongside some of the most dedicated professionals — and supporting some of the most incredible young people — shaped not only the kind of clinician I became, but the person I am.
Treloar’s provides life-changing education, care, therapy, and independence training for young people with complex physical disabilities. But what really sets it apart is the unwavering belief in every student's potential — and the extraordinary support it gives to help them achieve it.
Running 26.2 miles feels huge… and is definitely going to be an enormous challenge! Having sworn never to take a step over half a marathon and boring people with many statements about how much I hate running I think most of you know I'd only be doing it for a cause that really means something!
If you’re able, please consider supporting me and donating to Treloar’s. Every contribution helps this incredible place continue its vital work — and helps more young people live fuller, more independent lives.
Thank you so much.
