I Survived a Cardiac Arrest — Now I’m Running to Help Others Do the Same ❤️
Last year, my heart stopped. I suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and I’m only here today because someone near me knew CPR.
Each year in the UK, over 30,000 people experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Less than 1 in 10 survive. That has to change.
The British Heart Foundation stood by me through recovery when I was in a different country and didn't have direct support. Their nurses helped me feel human again when I felt empty. Now, I’m giving back.
In April 2026, I’ll run my first-ever marathon in honour of the BHF and for every life yet to be saved.
The BHF is leading the fight against heart disease: funding life-saving research, supporting recovery, and training people in CPR the skill that saved my life.
💥 If you can donate, please do.
💥 If you can’t, please learn CPR - it only takes 15 minutes and could save a life.
