I was lucky enough to get a place for London Marathon and thought it would be a great opportunity to fundraise for something close to my heart.
I've seen first hand the impact of Parkinson's through my mum who was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s over 20 years ago, when I was 5. Parkinson's UK aims to build the community of support aswell as developing new treatments, faster and is a very worthy cause.
