My Story
I'm Running three races in next six weeks to support the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Charity.
1. The Reading Half Marathon (13.1miles) on 22nd March 2026. Completed
2. The London Marathon (26.2 miles ) on 26th April 2026. Completed
3. The Milton Keynes Marathon (26.2 miles) on 4th May 2026. Completed
In next six weeks, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and taking on 78.5 miles through the streets of Reading, London and Milton Keynes — all in support of Royal Berks Charity, the incredible organisation that helps make the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust more than just a hospital.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund life-changing projects that go above and beyond what NHS budgets can cover. From specialist equipment for premature babies, to support for patients with cancer, to creating calmer, more dignified spaces for those in the hardest moments of their lives — Royal Berks Charity is there, making a real difference.
Maybe you've had care at the Royal Berks. Maybe someone you love has. I know I’ve seen first-hand the impact this hospital has on people every single day — and I want to give something back.
Training for a marathon isn’t easy. There will be sore legs, early mornings, and moments where I question why I signed up… but knowing the difference your donations will make keeps me going.
I’d be so grateful for your support. Every step I take on that day, I’ll be running for our community — for the patients, families, and staff who rely on Royal Berks Charity to go the extra mile.
Please donate if you can, and help me make every mile matter. 🏃♀️💙
Thank you so much.
