My Story

I’m running the London Marathon for the RNLI!

Usually when I’m responding to emergencies, there’s a lifeboat involved. This time? Just my legs, 26.2 miles of London pavement and very little chance of being rescued halfway through!

As an RNLI crew member with Larne Lifeboat Station, I know how vital your support is – it keeps us trained, kitted out, and ready to launch when the pager goes off 24/7. So I thought, what better way to help fund lifesaving missions than by willingly subjecting myself to 4+ hours of pain in public?

Please donate if you can – the RNLI depends on your donations to keep on saving lives at sea. Your money will help the lifeboat crews on call at all hours of the day and night right around the UK and Ireland, the lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands, as well as the RNLI safety teams and educators who work tirelessly to prevent people getting in trouble in the first place.

Thank you (Pray for my legs!)
