Running for Teo fundraising
Roland Shuli
My Story
My son Teo's dream was to run again; doctors advised him against intense physical activity after being diagnosed with a heart disease at the age of 11. "I would like to run a marathon, after I have a new heart, he often said". Unfortunately time ran out, a donor heart wasn’t available and Teo passed away at the age of 16.
In memory of him and his dream, I am "running for Teo" and fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. So that many more young people can have a chance and find help through medical research and other support as they face the unfairness of heart disease. I wish to raise the awareness of the importance of donating organs so that life can be continued and dreams be fulfilled.
