London Marathon 2026 for Children with Cancer
Ryan Davies
My Story
Hi! In April 2026 I’ll be running the London Marathon for Children with Cancer UK.
When my niece Summer was younger, she was diagnosed with cancer. It’s a word no family ever wants to hear. Instead of just enjoying childhood, she had to deal with hospital visits, treatments, waiting rooms, and constant uncertainty.
But through all of it, Summer was unbelievably strong — brave, funny, and somehow still getting on with life no matter what was thrown her way. She’s grown into an amazing girl because of that strength, and her journey has stayed with all of us.
Seeing what she went through made me realise how many children and families face the same battles every single day. That’s why I’m raising money for Children with Cancer UK: to help fund vital research and to fight for a future where no child has to face cancer.
So I’m asking for your help. If you’re able to, please donate — big or small, it all makes a difference. Your support helps fund research, support services, and gives families a lifeline when they need it most.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting my London Marathon run. It genuinely means a lot.
