My Story

My name is Sam and this year I’m taking on the London Marathon for KidsOut. This isn’t just a physical challenge for me — it’s deeply personal. My amazing mum has spent the last 25 years working and advocating for KidsOut, and through her I’ve seen first-hand the life-changing impact this charity has on children and young people who have experienced trauma through domestic abuse. I’ve watched the difference that toy boxes, fun days, trips to the cinema, bowling and opportunities can make at a time in their lives when it’s really tough and it’s something that has stayed with me my whole life.

When the miles get tough for me and I’m digging deep through all 26.2 miles of London, I’ll be running for those children and young people and for the work I’ve seen transform lives.

I’d be incredibly grateful if you could dig deep in your pockets to support me and help KidsOut continue their vital journey. Thank you so much for any support you can give.
