My Story

2025 was a tricky year for me with firstly losing my dad and amongst other things I had a big birthday!  This has made me take stock and  I'd like to give something back.

ROALD DAHL'S MARVELLOUS CHILDREN'S CHARITY'S mission is to provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children living with complex, lifelong conditions.

Their vision is that every seriously ill child has a Roald Dahl Nurse Specialist to help them to lead a more marvellous life.

As a charity that works in partnership with the NHS, they find innovative ways to ensure that children and families have the care and support they need.

I will be running the London Marathon in support of this amazing charity...

My profile picture is when I completed the Manchester marathon, I was a lot younger and fitter and I have to admit I feel really quite apprehensive about the task ahead of me.

Your support, however much, will be hugely appreciated and will help me pound the pavements as I train through the winter months!

Thanks,

Blakey xx
