My Story

Supporting people to live the lives they choose

I am taking part in the 2026 London Marathon to raise funds for Help & Care. A charity of forty years standing; they empower individuals, with physical and mental health conditions to live the most fulfilling lives possible. Everything they do is rooted in compassion, integrity and a fierce belief that everyone deserves to live life on their terms.

My Marathon journey will specifically support the Roots service at Help & Care. The Roots team support people living with mental ill health by creating opportunities to connect with others, spend time outdoors, and take part in meaningful gardening activities that benefit the wider community across Bournemouth and Poole. 

I know the London Marathon isn't going to be easy and I've never done one before so I'm especially proud to combine my marathon experience for this amazing local charity.
