My Story

My story:

I'm running the London Marathon for Autistica - and I'd really appreciate your support.

This isn't about running 26.2 miles (way further than I've ever run before!) - for me this is deeply personal.

I have two incredible children and a fantastic nephew who are all on the autistic spectrum. My son has been out of education for the past year after experiencing autistic burnout and severe anxiety - something far too many families know all too well.

Sadly our systems aren't built with neurodiversity in mind and, as a result,  people are struggling.

We urgently need better understanding, better support, and more research to help autistic people thrive - especially in our schools. Every autistic person deserves the tools, the compassion and the opportunities to fulfil their potential.

And we need to make sure the people around them - educators, peers and communities - know how to truly support them.

That's why I'm running for Autistica, the UK's leading autism research charity. Autistica funds vital work to improve mental health, education and employment outcomes for autistic people.

This is a cause incredibly close to my heart. If you're able to support me with a donation of any size, I'd be so grateful. Your generosity could help to change the future of so many autistic people.

Thank you so much ❤️
