My Story

About this charity🫶

This year, I’m taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon in support of Fisher House, a charity that means a great deal to me personally. Fisher House provides vital support to members of the armed forces and their families when they are going through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Their work became especially meaningful to me when a close friend of mine was seriously injured. During that incredibly challenging time, Fisher House was there to provide practical help, comfort, and a place for their family to stay close while they recovered. Seeing first-hand how much that support meant to them made a lasting impression on me, and it’s one of the main reasons I decided to run the marathon for this cause. The London Marathon is a huge physical and mental challenge, but it feels small compared to what so many service personnel and their families go through. By running and raising funds, I hope to give something back to a charity that made such a difference when it mattered most. Every mile I run will be dedicated to supporting Fisher House so they can continue helping military families stay together and supported during times of injury, recovery, and uncertainty.
