My Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story — and for any donation you’re able to make, no matter how big or small. Even just being here and supporting this cause means more than you know.
I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for Women In Sport !
I truly believe every woman and girl deserves the chance to:
- Stay active
- Feel supported
- Belong in sport and physical activity
This fundraising will help support women of all:
- Ethnicities and races
- Ages
- Abilities
- Backgrounds
Sport can be life-changing, but many women (especially teenagers) stop participating
Common barriers include:
- Cost
- Lack of access to facilities or equipment
- Limited women’s teams
- Not feeling like there’s a space for them
This inequality prevents many women from even getting started
I’ve played sport throughout my life and have seen these obstacles first-hand
This cause is about encouraging women to keep moving in whatever way works for them, such as:
- Gym
- Walking
- Running
- Pilates
- Any form of movement
Staying active should feel:
- Accessible
- Empowering
- Supportive
Helping women stay fit and healthy in ways that suit them
It’s also about investing in communities where women feel connected and encouraged
I am grateful for communities like Runners & Stunners - big thank to Jenny for giving the chance to run and represent this incredible community of all female runners
Thank you again for your support — it truly means everything. 💛💜
