My Story

On April 26, 2026, I am tackling the London Marathon—my first ever—in loving memory of my nan, Yvonne Ive. While the 26.2 miles is a significant personal hurdle, the funds raised will make a life-changing difference to families facing far greater challenges.

My nan received truly exceptional and compassionate care from the dedicated team at Thames Hospice. Despite her pain, she found deep comfort there, describing it as a ‘magical place’ supported by ‘angels.’ The Hospice ensured she had dignity; we shared cherished moments and often listened to her favourite music including plenty of Diana Ross in her room together looking out across Bray Lake.

My London marathon journey is about honouring my nan and continuing our family’s support for Thames Hospice. As a non-runner, I'm definitely pushing my limits, dragging out friends for long weekend runs, including some fun runs around Black Park in the mud. My family’s fundraising efforts to date, spearheaded by my mum, Simone, and backed by the incredible support and generosity of her customers and friends, has already donated an astonishing £65,000 to the Hospice so far and I hope to add significantly to that total with your help!

I am so honoured to have been picked to run for Thames Hospice and will give my all to help them continue providing their vital end-of-life care for other families, now and into the future.

Please join my journey and support this incredible cause.

Every donation, every share, every cheer help will help me go further in supporting Thames Hospice!! 💚
