On Sunday 26th April 2026 I will be running the London Marathon in aid of Amnesty International. 

In 2026 the work Amnesty are doing seems more important than ever. 

Israel continues to commit war crimes in Gaza, with over 70,000 Palestinians killed & 170,000 injured since October 2023.

The United States government imposes militarised immigration enforcement on communities across the USA, with ICE agents already murdering two legal bystanders in 2026.

Closer to home, the UK Government imposes draconian anti-protest laws, arresting over 700 to date for peacefully protesting the ban of 'terrorist' organisation Palestine Action.

The British establishment strips the dignity of transgender people by removing their right to exist single-sex spaces such as public toilets.

Reform UK have pledged to withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights should they win the next General Election.

For these reasons & many more I aim to raise £2000 to support the important work Amnesty is doing - both here in the UK and around the world.
