My Story
Next year on the 1st November 2026 marks 20 years since we lost my wonderful Dad David. He was the life, soul and pure joy of our entire world.
One minute he was excited to visit the fishing shop with the vouchers we had bought him to the next him dying so suddenly he hadn't even finished getting ready.
The grief these last few years have been intense, its felt sufficating and some days I've just been incredibly sad about everything he has missed, my beautiful boys being born, he never met Dan and never got to walk me down the aisle, thats the hardest part. As our family grows the saddness intensifies.
Losing someone so suddenly changes everything about you as a person so back in July I decided to channel the grief and was amazingly offered a place for the British Heart Foundation, and my wonderful husband will also be running with me even though he said he never would ever again!!
BHF is the biggest independent funder of research into cardiovascular disease in the UK. They power the next breakthroughs in diagnosing, treating, and preventing the world’s biggest killer.
We are not only running London, but the Robin Hood half marathon, Carsington half and any other crazy local runs we decide to enter!
So please dig deep and support us as much as you can, we want to raise as much as possible to enable families to continue making memories with the people they love.
All our love
