My Story

It’s my second official marathon, but the most meaningful. This time, I’m running through my home city for someone so incredibly special to me: my darling Mum.

I’m proud to be supporting Saint Francis Hospice, a place that offers extraordinary care, compassion, and dignity to people and families during some of the most overwhelming and vulnerable times. They have been there for Mum with a kindness that can’t be measured, making difficult days lighter and reminding us that no one ever has to face these moments alone.

Every step I take will be a tribute to my Mum’s incredible strength and the quiet courage she shows every single day. Even with so much happening around her, she continues to lead with love, and that love carries me more than she knows.

She inspires me constantly, through the way she never gives up and the compassion she shows even on her hardest days. Watching her face life with such grace reminds me of the kind of person I want to be.

Running this marathon is my way of honouring her: celebrating her heart, her resilience, and everything she’s given me, while supporting an organisation that gives so much in return.

What makes Saint Francis Hospice even more extraordinary is that they’re mostly funded by donations. Every service they provide, every moment of comfort, every bit of guidance, every act of kindness is made possible through the generosity of others.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would truly mean the world. Your support helps Saint Francis Hospice continue their incredible work for families just like ours.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this journey with me.

This one’s for you, Mummy. Your little one xxxxx
