About us

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. Growing up, domestic abuse was a painful reality in my life, and I know first-hand the importance of the support, safety, and hope that organisations like Women’s Aid provide. Their work changes – and saves – lives every day.

It also connects deeply with my present. I currently work on Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, a show that powerfully highlights the impact of domestic abuse and the resilience needed to overcome it. Seeing this story shared on stage night after night reminds me why raising awareness and support is so vital.

Taking on 26.2 miles will be one of the biggest challenges of my life, but every step will be for an incredible cause. By donating, you’ll not only be cheering me on but also helping Women’s Aid continue their essential work supporting women and children escaping abuse.
