My Story
On Sunday, 26th April 2026, I will take on my biggest running challenge to date. I have officially signed up for the London Marathon. This has been a dream of mine since taking up running during Covid.
I will be raising money for Gene People. Many of you may not be familiar with this charity. When searching for a charity to fundraise for, I wanted to find one which meant something to my family and myself.
My son Rory was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition in 2023 called Temple Syndrome. This affects the growth gene. Little is known about Temple Syndrome so anything we can do to raise its profile and help families and children like Rory would be fantastic.
Gene People is a registered charity with a vision to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by genetic conditions.
Any amount you can donate would be very much appreciated by myself and the Gene People.
Thank you for reading this and thank you in advance for any donations received.
Training starts now!
