My Story
Running the London Marathon 2026 - in memory of mam
In April 2024, we lost our mam to breast cancer some five and half years after she was first diagnosed. She faced every stage of her illness with strength, humour, and courage and she was my biggest supporter through everything — from sporting events to my career and beyond. Whether she was cheering from the sidelines or sending a message before every event, she was always there.
I’ll be running the London Marathon 2026 in her memory, raising money for Breast Cancer Now, a charity dedicated to funding vital research and providing life-changing support for those affected by breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Now's aim to make sure that by 2050 everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well, with their world-class researchers working in labs across the UK and Ireland to create a world where the words "breast cancer" aren't met with fear and to build a brighter future for everyone affected breast cancer. Every penny I raise will go towards that mission.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and bring us closer to a future where no one loses a loved one to breast cancer.
Thank you so much for helping me keep her memory alive and for supporting this amazing cause.
