My Story

As some of you may be aware I’m running the London Marathon this year in support of Neurokinex  a charity that’s become incredibly close to my families hearts.

Four years ago, my dad faced a life-changing ordeal, he developed a severe abscess on his spine and was told he might never walk again, potentially remaining wheelchair bound for life. After 16 weeks in Kings Collage hospital and Darrent valley Dad was able to move out of hospital to my brother’s bungalow to continue recovery.

Thankfully, neurokinex stepped in and played a pivotal role in his recovery over the last 4 years. They have provided him with the support and confidence he needed to adapt to using a wheelchair and helped him to relearn daily activities, regaining independence and confidence to walk short distances with sticks.

Neurokinexs is dedicated to supporting individuals facing neurological challenges, offering not just physical assistance but also emotional and psychological support. Their work truly transforms lives of people aged from 5 plus.

I’m honoured to run in support of such a meaningful cause, and I hope to raise awareness and funds to help others on their journey to recovery.
