This is our older generation and we need to look after them.

Hi all,

Thankyou for taking the time to check out my donation page.

I will be running the London Marathon in 2026 for Independent Age, a UK charity supporting older people to live with dignity, security, and connection.

After attending their annual conference this year, my eyes were opened to the challenges many older people face, from loneliness to financial hardship and inspired by the vital work Independent Age does to change that.

This is our older generation and we need to look after them. I wanted to help in any way that I could and after being offered a place to run for them in the London Marathon '26 I accepted without hesitation. 

I am in no way built for running however for this charity I am willing to push myself to my limit to raise funds to support as much as I can.

Your donation will help fund practical advice, friendship services, and campaigns to make the UK a fairer place to grow old.
