My Story

On Sunday 26th April 2026 I will be Running the London Marathon for Kidney Care uk Charity.
Every day in the UK, thousands of people live with kidney disease – a lifelong condition that can affect every part of daily life. For many, dialysis and transplants are the only options to stay alive, and the journey is often filled with challenges, uncertainty, and incredible resilience.

I’m fundraising for Kidney Care UK, the leading charity supporting kidney patients and their families. They provide practical, emotional, and financial help to those affected, campaign for better care, and ensure that no one faces kidney disease alone.

This cause is very close to my heart. As my sister was born with Polycystic kidney disease. Which over time her kidneys started to fail which meant she had to go into dialysis 3 times a day.

This lead to her having a kidney transplant in 2010 which was given to her by her husband. 15 years later she is still doing well.

So  by donating, you’ll be helping to fund vital support services, advocacy, and research that can change lives. Whether it’s providing counselling, financial assistance, or simply being there when someone needs a listening ear, Kidney Care UK makes a real difference.

💙 Every donation, big or small, will help people living with kidney disease face the future with hope.

Thank you for supporting me and this incredible charity.
