My Story

I was 9 when I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. At 14 years old, I needed emergency surgery to remove my colon, and at 20 years old I had my stoma made permanent - the best option to protect my health and save my life.

To give you an idea of what IBD can be like: I spent months passing blood instead of stool up to 20 times, day and night, while constantly vomiting from the pain. I remember suffering so much that I wished I wouldn’t wake up. My stoma literally gave me my life back.

I’m running the London Marathon to raise funds so others don’t have to suffer the same way. 26.2 miles (42km) is a huge challenge, but nothing compared to the daily reality for those living with Crohn’s or Colitis.

Every donation helps fund vital research, provide support, and bring us closer to a world where there is a cure for IBD.

I would be deeply grateful for your support, so that one day, no one has to endure what I did.
