My Story
I’ve decided to run the London Marathon to raise money for FARA, a charity that transforms the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in Romania. Their work is close to my heart, and supporting them through this marathon gives real purpose to every mile I run.
FARA doesn’t just provide care — they offer dignity, opportunity, and hope. From education and therapy to safe homes and support for those with complex needs, FARA is there for children and young people who would otherwise be forgotten. Their mission deeply resonates with me, and I want to use this opportunity to help them continue their life-changing work.
The London Marathon is a huge personal challenge, but it’s nothing compared to what some of these young people face daily. If my effort on race day can raise funds to support a child’s future, give someone a place to feel safe, or help a young person gain independence, then every training session, every blister, and every step will have been worth it.
By supporting me and FARA, you’re not just helping me reach the finish line — you’re helping someone else start a whole new chapter in their life.
