My Story

Hey there! Wanthony here, coming from NYC. And yes, that's right, that's Anthony with a W.

I am excited to announce that I will be running the London Marathon! This will be my 3rd marathon, and I'm ready to earn my personal record with this one. The London Marathon is so special, a very inspiring and colourful event celebrating the diversity and experience levels of the runners. This race will extend from Blackheath to The Mall, with a beautiful finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.

I have the fortune of running this race with the MACS team, a national charity supporting children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Every year, children are born with no eyes (Anophthalmia), small eyes (Microphthalmia), or a cleft in the eye (Coloboma). Receiving the diagnosis may be an isolating experience for parents; they may feel hopeless and alone.

MACS helps over 3,000 people from 1,000 families across the UK, supporting them at every stage of their journey by providing peer support, practical help and opportunities to take part in life-changing activity trips.

Please help me make this happen for a sensitive population. The donation is optional. The support is requested! I hope to see you cheer me on as I crush that finish line.
