My Story
I’m Running the London Marathon for Kidney Care UK.
This year, I’m taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life — running the London Marathon — to raise money for a cause that’s deeply personal to me.
I’m running for a charity that supports people living with kidney disease, because my son, Milo, only has one fully functioning kidney.
Watching your child face health challenges is something no parent is ever truly prepared for. While Milo is doing well, his condition has made me acutely aware of how important kidney health is, and how vital the support, research, and care provided by kidney charities can be — not just for those currently struggling, but for their families too.
Training for 26.2 miles is tough, but it’s nothing compared to the strength and resilience I see in Milo every day. He’s my inspiration — every mile I run is for him and for the many others who face kidney problems throughout their lives.
I’m hoping to raise a minimum of £2500 to support the incredible work this charity does — from funding life-changing research to providing support for families like ours.
If you’re able to donate, share this page, or simply send some encouragement, I’d be so grateful. Together, we can make a real difference for people living with kidney disease.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.
