My Story

In April 2026, I will lace up my running shoes, pin on my race bib, and run 26.2 miles through London.  I am running the 2026 TCS London Marathon to raise vital funds for Children with Cancer UK, a charity who's vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer.

This charity shares my own vision, no one should lose there life to cancer let alone children! As a survivor of childhood Leukeamia and a parent of 2 young children I want to give children and thier families going through the horrifying ordeal of battling this awful disease, belief and positivity that you can beat it and come through the other side!

I battled cancer as a 3 year old and finally got the all clear aged 5, I obviously can't remember much of this thankfully but I can't even begin to think the worry and stress it put on my parents and teenage sisters at the time. This is why I signed up to test myself physically and mentally by signing up to run the London Marathon and raise as much as possible to fund research which one day will stop children losing lives!

I will try to keep this page updated with how training is going!

Please support me by giving generously.

Thank you

Will
