Will Skingsley is fundraising !
William Skingsley
My Story
I’m running the London Marathon… and then, because I clearly didn’t learn my lesson, a 100-mile race in July.
I’m raising money for Tourette’s Action, a charity that's close to me.
Tourette’s is often treated as a punchline. People think it’s just swearing or something to laugh at, the reality is much less funny. It’s frustrating, and invisible in ways that make it hard to explain, especially on the days when it feels like your own body is arguing with you.
Tourette’s Action provides vital support, understanding, and advocacy for people living with Tourette’s and their families. They help turn isolation into community, and confusion into understanding. The work they do is incredible.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just cheer me on from the sidelines, it genuinely means the world.
Tourettes Action receives no government funding, so any donation is appreciated. Here’s what your fundraising can achieve:
- £10 – Info pack for someone newly diagnosed
- £100 – A support group meeting
- £250 – Webinars for families & professionals
- £300 – Educational support for a pupil with TS
Thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in this cause as much as I do.
