World Without Tuberculosis (WWTB)
About us
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the major preventable causes of sickness and death in many countries of the world. While most common in developing countries, it is also of concern as an emerging disease of the developed world. TB, along with malaria and Human Immunodeficiency (HIV) are diseases largely affecting people living in extreme poverty.
Our mission is the global eradication of Tuberculosis through the identification of safe and effective treatment regimens of very short durations.
The work of WORLD WITHOUT TB (WWTB) is based on the skills and dedication of a number of diverse participants who believe in what the charities activity could deliver. In addition to our trustees, we work with a range of volunteers, fundraisers, and clinicians.
