My Story

London 2026

In April this year, I'll be running my first ever marathon, proudly representing the brilliant charity, SportInspired.

Running a marathon is a major personal milestone but pairing it with a cause that matters deeply to me makes it even more meaningful. I am fundraising to support children and young people growing up in some of the UK's most deprived communities, helping to give them opportunities they deserve but don't have.

I have lived in London for almost 12 years and for the first 6 of these, I lived in a London borough where 47% of children grow up in poverty. London 2012 showcased the UK at its best, an unforgettable celebration of sport in our capital where I was lucky enough to volunteer. I would like kids of all backgrounds and abilities to develop the confidence and courage to pursue their dreams in life, whatever they may be.

SportInspired uses the power of sport to build confidence, develop new skills and overcome the barriers created by poverty. Together we can make a real difference!

Thank you so much for your support; both for visiting this page and, hopefully, for cheering me on around the course on April 26th!

Big love,
