My Story

I said I would never do it again, but seem to have forgotten how brutal it was in 2023. After not running consistently for a while, I’m ready to get back to work and go again. So on April 26th I’ll be lacing up my running shoes to run 26.2 miles through London for the second time, raising money for a great local cause.

I'm running the 2026 London Marathon to raise money for NAYC (Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs) & ACUK (Action Centres UK). My goal is to raise over £1,500 to support their brilliant work.

The money donated will go directly towards bursary funding, which helps to cover the cost for local young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford a school residential or sports session.

Running a marathon is a huge challenge, but knowing it’s helping young people access opportunities they’d otherwise miss out on will keep me motivated all the way. Any support would be hugely appreciated!

Thank you, Alex.
