My Story
I am attempting to run the London Marathon on 26th April 2026, this time for relatively small UK based charity APP - action on postpartum psychosis. This is the first time APP have been given marathon places so I feel very honoured to be running on behalf of them.
Sadly, in May 2024 I lost one of my best friends Cara to a relapse in her mental health related to pre & postpartum psychosis, something people know very little about, I being one of them, and I hope to raise some money, and awareness on the amazing work APP does for mothers and families going through challenging times pre and post birth.
Any little you can give to help drive me on during this long winter of running and on the day will be great fully received and go a long way to supporting this little know charity, to get them the exposure and support they deserve. Look out for me on the day and give me a shout, I'll be wearing purple
