My Story

Why I’m Running the London Marathon (Again)

In 2024, I had the privilege (and pain!) of running the London Marathon. I told myself it would be a one-time thing. Yet here I am, signed up again for 2026, this time with a different purpose.

I’m running to support Ambitious about Autism, a charity that’s doing vital work to create a world where autistic children and young people can thrive. Their practical, committed approach helps young people access education, build skills for employment, and feel included - something that should be a given, not a goal.

I’ve seen first-hand how important early support, understanding, and advocacy can be - not just for the young person, but for the whole family.

Training for a marathon is never easy (and I’m not getting younger!), but I know that every mile will mean something more because it’s for this cause. If you’re able to donate - even a small amount - it would mean a lot. You won’t just be cheering me on. You’ll be backing a charity that makes a real difference, every single day.

Thank you. Let’s make those miles matter.
