Jamie's London Marathon Journey

My Story

In April 2026, I will be taking on the London Marathon, a challenge that means far more to me than just 26 miles.

I am running in honour of my brother, Ben, who we sadly lost to mental health. Ben was an incredible person, loved deeply by everyone around him, and his passing has left a space in our lives that can never be filled. Mental health is something that affects so many of us silently, and Ben’s journey is a reminder of how important it is that support is available in the moments people need it most.

I’m proud to be raising money for Mental Health Innovations, the charity behind Shout and The Mix, two services that make a real difference in supporting people through crisis, worry, and emotional struggle. These platforms were a meaningful part of Ben’s life, and I want to help ensure they continue to support others who might feel lost, overwhelmed, or alone.

Taking on this marathon is my way of keeping Ben’s spirit with me, while helping a cause that truly matters. Any support, whether big or small, means the world. Your donation will directly help provide life saving support to those facing some of their hardest moments.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, for supporting, and for helping me honour Ben’s memory.

Every mile I run is for him.
